Windows 7 BSOD after installing SP1

I installed Windows 7(Enterprise, 64-bit) Service Pack 1 with some other updates, and didn't think of the consequences of installing a service pack with other updates.

I have tried windows repair with loader errors and restore to an earlier stage.
These things doesn't work and now I am finally here.

There was 3-4 "Updates for Windows" and internet explorer 9 with the installation of SP1.
Also installed 3 hardware updates.

after restarting the computer I keep getting a black screen, and then a BSOD after 30 sec.
Tried going into Safe Mode and completing the installation, but after success and a reboot again it gets BSOD.

PS! This is my work computer(as IT technician) so I need it back without reinstalling

Usual causes: Video driver, overheating, bad video card, ?BIOS, ?Power to card

Your latest dump file lists nvlddmkm.sys as the probable cause. This is a Graphics Driver.
Old and incompatible drivers can and do cause issues with Windows 7, often giving false error codes.

As a Priority:

• Download the latest nVidia Graphics Drivers.
• Download and install Driver Sweeper.
• Boot to Safe Mode
• Uninstall your current Graphics Driver set up using Driver Sweeper.
• Reboot to Normal Mode.
• Install your new Graphics Driver set up.

Best advice is not to use Windows update or Device Manager to look after your drivers. Its known to "update" your drivers to "older" versions. Go to the Mfr's or your Mobo Mfr's sites first. Use Windows Update as your last option.
Do not have Windows update set to the Install update automatically (recommended) setting. You can then veto any hardware drivers it wants to install.

Tried to install the Driver Sweeper 3.1.0, but it wont work properly.
It just pops up with a message saying it has stopped working properly.

Dont work in 64 bits?
Or maybe not in safemode?

I could try to use the device manager(as you do not recommend) to uninstall the driver..
Cause if theres a problem with the Driver Sweeper I think that would be the best solution.

I've installed Driver sweeper 3.1 on my 64bit and works OK. Did you try to install it in normal or safe mode?

There may also be restrictions in place put there by "the administrator/IT dept." if it's your work computer.

Installed it in safe mode, think thats the problem.

I fixed the problem.
Used device manager to uninstall the graphics driver and then restarted in normal and installed the new drivers you suggested

If you mean which tools to use, then you need the WinDebug Tools. Best and easiest tutorial to understand the installation can be found here. There are other tools about, like Blue Screen View and WhoCrashed that will give basic information.

Then its just a matter of watching others and opening the dmp files to see what (and why!!) they've mentioned things.
Build up a little sheet of "canned speeches" if you're a one fingered typist, like me, to save time. Another list of "naughty drivers" that usually cause problems, and the cure, and bobs yer uncle!

There's a list of stop error codes Link Removed which gives an idea of what created the crash.
