Windows 7 BSOD Problem Windows 7 64 Bit

Hi, I've done a bit of searching and have tried several solutions suggested in other places however none have worked.
My computer has been blue screening every once in a while. Sometimes I can go quite a while without a BSOD and sometimes it will happen within 20 minutes of each other. It has become more frequent lately but I do not remember changing much. If I remember correctly, I started receiving more blue screens since I changed my video card from a NVIDIA Geforce 9800Gt to a Radeon 5800 series. At that time, the blue screens did not happen as frequently as it does now.

My system specifications are as follows:
Motherboard: ASUS M4A98GTD PRO AM3 AMD
Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 Processor ~3.2GHz
RAM: 2X 2Gigs Ripjaw DDR3

I am currently running the Driver Verifier as suggested elsewhere but nothing has happened yet.

The minidump should be attached if I done it right.

Thank you for your help.View attachment Minidump.zip

Hi Avitus52,
are you running McAfee? If so either try updating or use MSE: Link Removed due to 404 Error

UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP (7f)
This means a trap occurred in kernel mode, and it's a trap of a kind
that the kernel isn't allowed to have/catch (bound trap) or that
is always instant death (double fault). The first number in the
bugcheck params is the number of the trap (8 = double fault, etc)
Consult an Intel x86 family manual to learn more about what these
traps are. Here is a *portion* of those codes:
If kv shows a taskGate
use .tss on the part before the colon, then kv.
Else if kv shows a trapframe
        use .trap on that value
Else
.trap on the appropriate frame will show where the trap was taken
(on x86, this will be the ebp that goes with the procedure KiTrap)
Endif
kb will then show the corrected stack.
Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000008, EXCEPTION_DOUBLE_FAULT
Arg2: 0000000080050031
Arg3: 00000000000006f8
Arg4: fffff800032c9ae4

I am not running McAfee.

Cybercore:
I have uninstalled Hamachi recently, hopefully that will no longer be an issue.
I will update the aforementioned programs. If any more problems occur I will report back here.

Your help is much appreciated, thank you everyone.

Your crashes were caused by ZoneAlarm. Uninstall that to stop them. (Or update to latest version.)

For Cybercore, others interested: Any time there's a 0x7F stop involving NETIO.sys and vsdatant.sys is present, ZA is 100% always the culprit.

ZA is excellent. I've been using it on many different machines for about 10 years without a single issue. Others do have issues though and the best I can figure, it's because of the way it is configured (improperly with respect to NetBIOS.)

What I would do is simply update it to latest and all should be alright.

Other than that, the built-in Windows Firewall is excellent and all you need.

Thanks for updating I should have mentioned a various other security apps but thanks to TorrentG for pinpointing the exact one.

Reporting back again, I tried to uninstall ZoneAlarm because when I tried to update it by going through the ZA Control panel it said it was fully updated so I thought it'd be best to uninstall and install the newest version. However, when I tried to uninstall it, it would give me another blue screen (Newest minidumps attached). I then tried to just run the newest installer for ZA hoping it would work somehow and that blue screened as well. I then went into safe mode, uninstalled with no problem, then installed the latest version. I restarted and did not have a problem until now. When messing with ZA the blue screen would tell me it was from VSDATANT.sys, which I understand to be from ZA. After the installation of the new version, the latest blue screen brought me back to my original problem.

I believe I have uninstalled/installed the ZA incorrectly but I am not exactly sure why.

Yep, all from ZA.

Uninstall it normally. Reboot.

Then download and extract from my link. Double click on the .reg file so it merges to the registry. It will clear the references to it.

Link Removed - Invalid URL

Then check C:\Windows\System32 for the ZoneLabs folder. Delete it if it's still there.

Also delete vsdata.dll, vsmonapi.dll, zpeng25.dll, zlcomm.dll, zlcommdb.dll, vsinit.dll, vspubapi.dll, vsregexp.dll, vsutil.dll, vswmi.dll, vsxml.dll
if any of them are still there.

Check you user account folder in AppData/Roaming for any ZoneAlarm, ZoneLabs, Checkpoint and/or Kaspersky folders. Delete all. Then do the same for the All Users folder.

Delete the Zone Labs folder in Program Files (x86) if still there.

Run Ccleaner to clean the registry. Your machine is now clean from ZA.

Then do as you wish; install latest version, use Windows Firewall or any other 3rd party firewall.

The link to RapidShare you have posted seems to be directing it to the deletion of ZAGone.rar. ?

Haha no problem.
Thank you very much for your help. I really appreciate it.
Everything seems to be working out so far. As usual, I'll report back if anything goes wrong.
