I'm trying to set up my sound system to use headphone but playback devices does not list headphones, only speakers and digital audio interface. Any suggestions?

Solution
I could only guess your drivers need to be redone or something added to them. My playback devices shows the headset and says "not plugged in".

You might right click the Playback Devices window and select "show disabled devices".

There may be an IDT panel in the Control Panel you could use to enable the headphones. Do you have any other mixer type utilities that control your sound devices?
Yes they are plugged in and there is no option for rear or front jack. There is no option for headphones at all.

In sheer desperation I uninstalled everything (card and drivers) then physically removed the card. I then redid it all and now it works. Go figure. Thanks for the help guys. I was getting really frustrated.
