Windows 7 CAN'T INSTALL OR RUN GADGETS

Dear users,
I don't know when it started, but now I can't download or install any gadgets. If I right click on the desktop and choose gadgets, and double click a displayed one which I didn't download, all I get is a partial nonworking icon.
Please advice.
I've tried turning UAC on and off, but it doesn't help.

Found solution:
Hi saintzer05 and Welcome to the Forum.

Open regedit.exe. Export (backup) and then delete this registry key:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\

Re-boot. Restart sidebar process.

Possibly related to Adobe Flash updates.
