Windows 7 Desktop folder in pictures folder

hmm okay so here's the problem. Recently after updated my windows 7 my desktop folder appear in my pictures folder. When I expand it, I can see my desktop icon in it. Can it be fix or I have to run the hassle to re format??? Anyway thx in advanced.

If you right click the Desktop folder, select the location tab you can restore to default or any other place you want it to be.
