Windows 7 DVD boot issue

Is anyone else having an issue booting from the DVD drive? I have it set to first boot device, but the prompt to hit any key to boot only shows for like half a second, and even if I do keep hitting a key, all I get is the boot menu, and I can't get it to boot from the DVD. I got one suggestion so far, but it is a catch 22. If I disable the SSD and HDD in the BIOS, I can boot to the DVD, but I can't reinstall WIndows because the disc isn't bootable.

What boot menu are you getting?

Do you have any bootable USB devices plugged in?

Have you booted to this particular DVD before?

Any chance this situation is related to the SSD? Do you use any special bios options for it?
