I'm having trouble installing Windows 7.

Problem: During the installation process, it stays at 0% for over five minutes, and then jumps to 4%. The longest it's stayed there is about twenty minues - that's the longest I've let it sit.

The computer's specs I'm trying to install it on:
AMD Athlon 64 3400+
160GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.7
2x 512 mb DDR Ram.

Other information:
It ran Windows XP just fine, and boots from the disc. I used this same install disc twice before, and the process went flawlessly on the other machines. Just to be safe, I burned another disc and verified it, and used that as well. The same problem occurs.

I found issues that other people had with the installation process freezing during the 'Expanding Windows Files' stage as well, but I couldn't find any solutions that people had, and I could find no cases where someone had a similar setup to mine.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

Try burning the disc at about 1x or 2x

I had some install problems of my own, and since burning all disks at those speeds, I do not have problems anymore.
