To remove or disable the "Other User" option on your Windows logon screen, you can follow these steps:
  1. Using the Registry Editor:
    • Press Win + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box.
    • Type regedit and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.
    • Navigate to the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
    • Look for a value named dontdisplaylastusername.
      • If it's not there, you can create it:
      • Right-click on an empty space in the right pane.
      • Choose New > DWORD (32-bit) Value.
      • Name it dontdisplaylastusername.
      • Double-click on dontdisplaylastusername and set its value to 1.

[]Close the Registry Editor and restart your computer.
[]Group Policy Editor Method (for Windows Pro editions):
    • Press Win + R to open the Run dialog.
    • Type gpedit.msc and press Enter.
    • Go to Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Local Policies > Security Options.
    • Look for the policy named Interactive logon: Do not display last user name.
    • Double-click on it, select Enabled, and then click Apply. After applying these changes, the "Other User" option should be removed from the logon screen. Remember to back up your registry before making any changes. If you are using Windows Home edition, the Group Policy Editor may not be available, and you will need to use the Registry Editor method. If you encounter any issues or need further assistance, feel free to ask!
