Issue
I can't seem to get Laptop and Desktop to be able to join the same Homegroup even if both have the same password in for both computers. I can create home groups on both computers but I can't find a homegroup to join from either computer.

I have Windows 7 on my desktop on my home network. It has ESET Smart Security 4.2.40.0 on it as a firewall and virus software.
I also have Windows 7 on my laptop. It has ESET Smart Security 5 on it as a firewall and virus software.
They both connect to my home network. Desktop Wired, Laptop Wireless. Both in the same network 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0.
My desktop has a static IP address of 192.168.1.100.
I set both firewalls to Learning Mode.
Windows Firewall is turned off on both Desktop and Laptop.
I can see each computer by opening up computer clicking on network and expanding out the tree for each from both laptop and desktop.
