Windows Vista Problem installing Vista SP1

Hi all,​

I need vista sp1 for the new game age of conan, but everytime i download it from the microsoft website, the download will suddenly stop. I tried this on my wireless laptop a few times but it eventually led me to downloading it off my main computer. Except the problem still happened. So I googled vista sp1 and downloaded it from another site and it worked. Through the lan network hamachi, i transerred vista sp1 to my laptop. But while i was installing it an error message came up :S. I followed the steps of microsoft's support seciton but it still will not install.​

What can i do? any help is appreciated​

What was the error message?
Have you downloaded all the updates before trying to install SP1?
Is this 64 or 32 bit.

error code: 0x8007000D See : Link Removed - Invalid URL for details.

It's Vista 32 bit. Basic.

Have you considered reformatting and then applying the update? Thats what I do and it works like a charm..
