Greetings,
You're my last hope before formating my computer !
I had some BSOD, since several months... It occurs during a game : Left 4 Dead 2 (Steam)
In fact, I hear someone speaking with microphone and then... the sound bugs (like freezing loop), and blue screen coming, reboot...
I've tried WhoCrashed to find the problem and it says that ntoskrnl.exe & ntkrnlmp.exe are involved.
But, I can play to this game during a month and more without any problem... and then, for an ordinary day, get these boring BSOD's... so strange! Outside this game, no complaints.
So, I would like to fix this situation... please!
Moreover,
-Official Windows 7 Premium 64bits updated.
-Motherboard drivers updated.
-Graphical card drivers updated.
-Sound drivers updated (Realtek).
-Ethernet drivers updated (Realtek).
And
-Memtest ok
-Temperatures ok (I check always it with hwmonitor during games)
-HD ok
I believed it was because of my antivirus, Bitdefender Internet Security 2011 (I'm sure that at least one of my BSOD was caused by it), however it's pretty random and I play with the "gaming mode".
I tried to reinstall Bitdefender (several weeks ago) & Left 4 Dead 2, but... I had a BSOD tonight.
My hardware :
-E8400, not O/C
-Gigabyte GA-EP43T-UD3L , BIOS updated.
-Crucial Ballistix DDR3 2x2Go, timing & voltage fixed as recommended (single channel, dual doesn't work).
-Gigabyte GTX460 Nvidia (since January... I wonder if my BSOD have started since then ? But I removed old drivers of my GTX 250, with drivers sweeper...)
-Multiboot, with EasyBCD.
(-Corsair power supply with enough Watts)
Thank you,
Regard.
