Hi guys,

I tried to follow all the instructions, screenshots of CPU-Z, and I made a zip file out of the SF Diagnostic Tool.

My laptop is a pretty new, still, bought this little more than a year ago. (yea, LITTLE more than a year ago, the warranty has been expired now.)

Toshiba Qosmio X505-870
i7 720QM + GTS 360 + PM55 mobo + 4GB DDR3
And I have 2 hard drives, Intel SSD X25-m 120GB (OS) + Hitachi 500GB (storage)

When I was using the Hitachi one, I think I got BSOD around 10 times. And I got an SSD about a month ago, installed it about 3 weeks ago, and I got BSOD again, 4 times, with only 2 dmp files (attached). 0x00000019 & 0x00000050, so far.

I usually get BSOD when the comp isn't doing anything. For example, when I play on Xbox live, I usually leave my laptop on right next to me. And it sometimes reboot itself, and I get a dmp file, BSOD.

I use this comp for my work as well, when I have to take a long lunch break, an hour or little more, when I come back, it restarts itself. It looks like it takes at least an hour or more. When I do work on my comp, websurfing, I dont' really get blue screens.

I've been getting stressed out since I do handle sensitive data at work, so I bought another desktop yesterday, and now I'm using this at home only. My wife keeps telling me to get a new one, but that's pretty stupid since this one's still a new one.

I'm so glad that I found this website, it looks like there are so many experts here. Hopefully I can find THE answer?? :)

Thank you very much guys for your help.

Solution
1. Toshiba support:

Link Removed due to 404 Error

Link Removed due to 404 Error

2. RAM is 1060Mhz now, and the CPU is overclocked. Set your hardware at stock - if the blue screens persist after you update Toshiba Value added pack.
Oh I forgot to mention that I DID try memory test, checkdisk and there was no error. And reinstalling OS didn't fix this issue.

BAD_POOL_HEADER (19)
The pool is already corrupt at the time of the current request.
This may or may not be due to the caller.
The internal pool links must be walked to figure out a possible cause of
the problem, and then special pool applied to the suspect tags or the driver
verifier to a suspect driver.
Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000003, the pool freelist is corrupt.
Arg2: fffffa8003c62770, the pool entry being checked.
Arg3: fffffa8003c62f70, the read back flink freelist value (should be the same as 2).
Arg4: fffffa8003c62770, the read back blink freelist value (should be the same as 2).

Thank you very much cybercore. some people are saying that i have hardware issues, what do you think?

I already said:

Your RAM appears slightly underclocked, 1057 Mhz while it's rated to run at 1066 Mhz.

So I think your RAM is misbehaving this way or another, let's see what you got :

- cpu-z MEMORY and CPU tabs snips
- Passmark Rammon HTML.zip

Update the drivers I listed starting with these two:

TOSHIBA ACPI-Based Value Added Logical and General Purpose Device
TVALZ_O.SYS Thu Nov 08 22:08:41 2007

InteeVideo - update or uninstall

Hi Cybercore,

Thank you very much again. Here are the images and the Passmark Rammon file I just got.

I just uninstalled InterVideo since I recall that I got a crash when I was watching a DVD movie with this program last week. No dmp file though.

TVALZ_O.SYS, I wasn't able to update this driver. On Windows, it says it's up to date. I googled it to get an updated driver, but was unable to do so.

Thanks a lot!

* I just noticed this also:

2. RAM is 1060Mhz now, and the CPU is overclocked. Set your hardware at stock - if the blue screens persist after you update Toshiba Value added pack.

Solution
Thank you very much. I'll try to update the drivers and repost the result. By the way, I never overclock cpu's, I don't really know how to, never thought about doing it. So you're saying my cpu is overclocked??? How does that happen without me doing it? haha, sorry I feel like I'm so ignorant here ;)

Then why on earth is your mobile Core i7 720 QM @ 1,60Ghz running 2,6Ghz?
That's 1 Ghz overstock!!

And why is your RAM running almost 10Mhz underclocked?

☛ Load bios defaults, disable Turbo Boost, enable EIST and enjoy. ☚

Otherwise this thread will grow 10 pages more and you will still be crashing. :(

Follow direct link to your notebook updates, again it's a direct link hit it and download for your model, already there no need for you to search.
These troubleshooting steps should have taken you a couple of hours, not days!!

Good Luck.

Thanks for the quick reply master :) I think, "i7-720QM 1.6 GHz - 2.8 GHz with Turbo Boost Technology", maybe because of this??? Ram being underclocked, i have no idea.

I already updated the TVALZ_O.SYS thingy, so maybe I should try new RAM now??? I was going to get a new RAM from newegg, but my RAM passed the test, memtest. I guess it's not 100% accurate??
