Hi Guys, Have a question I could do with an answer to please!

All my albums are in different folders in my music folder...
The Columns as your are aware can have different rows eg track number, title, year, rating date added Etc.

I want all my folders to open up displaying the same info
Track Title, Artist Etc.
Instead of going through every folder, is there a way I can just change it as a defult setting in the my music folder??

This is what I mean...
This is the ideal way i like it

The other issue I have recently, When I save the Folder as the icon cover, it sometimes just changes to another album cover, weird really.
Or sometimes it just goes to defult and just displays a blank folder.
Hope you can help
Thanks
Andy

Solution
Andy, To make sure all your folders consistently display the same information when viewed in the music folder, you can set a default view for folders containing your music albums. Here's how you can achieve this in Windows: 1. Set a Default View for Folders: - Open the folder where your music is stored. - Go to the "View" tab in the File Explorer menu. - Click on "Options" and then select "Change folder and search options." - In the Folder Options window, go to the "View" tab. - Click on "Apply to Folders" to apply the current view settings to all folders. - This should set the Track Title, Artist, and other desired details as the default view for all folders, including your music albums. 2. Fixing Icon Cover Display Issue:...

Fixing Icon Cover Display Issue: - To prevent the issue where the folder icons change unexpectedly, you can try the following: - Ensure that the actual album cover image is named appropriately and stored in the folder. - Right-click on the folder, select "Properties," go to the "Customize" tab, and then click on "Change Icon." Choose the appropriate album cover image as the icon. - If the icon cover still changes unexpectedly, you can try refreshing the folder view by pressing F5 or restarting the File Explorer. By setting a default view for folders and ensuring that the album cover images are correctly associated with your folders, you can maintain a consistent and organized music library view. If you continue to experience issues with icon covers changing unexpectedly, feel free to provide more details for further assistance.
