Windows 7 Windows 7 wont install to Seagate Barracuda 7200.7

Had Windows XP installed on an old Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 120GB.
Formatted the drive for a clean install from Windows 7 DVD
Now I get this:

"Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu."

It is, and yes it can. And why is it even saying this when the installer can format and partition this drive till it turns blue.

It gives me the option to "Load Driver" but there are no drivers for this HDD, it's all pre programmed in the motherboards.

Any help will be GREATLY appreciated before this thing goes off the roof!

System Specs:
ASROCK PT880 Pro Motherboard
Intel Celeron E 3200 2.4 Ghz
Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 120GB IDE set as master HDD
1 GB ram

Is this drive set up as dynamic? Win 7 might be putting a 100 mb partition at the front, so do not try to install to that.

It's not that, I can set the partition sizes to whatever I want, it just gives me that same "Windows cannot be installed..." error. It's a new motherboard, perhaps they stopped making them support the master HDD as an IDE? They have to be SATA or something? The BIOS says the IDE controller is "Enabled" and all that good stuff. I'll try it again with "Disabled".... Could the IDE cable be bad? Is the sun not out? Geeze Windows 7 is picky.
