I was bored and decided to look at the GodMode shortcut. For those of you that don't know what that is I'll explain. It's basically a folder shortcut with a special CLSID extension. CLSID is short for Class ID. The godmode shortcut will display a lot of settings available in the Control...
Because I keep getting the Taskbar refusing to autohide I wanted to have a shortcut to Windows Explorer on the desktop so that I could just restart it with one click, instead of going into Task Manager.
Is this possible?
Thanks.
The shortcut is not opening.
A message appears that "The item 'xxxxx.exe' that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly."
Kindly provide a fix to this issue.

Hi
This is something that's bothered me for years, so I'm finally asking for help.
When I'm typing in this forum or others I sometime accidentally hit some key that causes my computer to go into over-typing mode.

Hello,
When right clicking on a website that I wish to add an icon on my desktop to, I lost the option to add shortcut in the drop-down menu. I end up with an entirely different drop-down menu.

Windows 10 and IE 11.
IE 11 shows toolbars OK.
When I use a shortcut from the Desktop to go to for example a bank, no toolbars show.
On previous WIndows 7 setup, they showed.
A shortcut is mapped to an FTP server, and shows up in W7 File Explorer. It works on occasion, but more often throws a paths/permissions error. When that occurs the site isn't available via a browser either. Have seen it do the same in W8.1 as well, but rarely.
The SC has been deleted and...

Hi. First post.
I have links in a Word document. I need to find a way to open the links using only my keyboard and not my mouse. Using the mouse I can go the the link, select the link, right click over the highlighted link, and select Open Hyperlink. All this can be done with the mouse. But how...
I have a question about running "executable" programs in Windows without having to type the extension.
I've recently learned that, in addition to the command prompt and run box, you can also run executable files (.exe, .bat, .lnk, .vbs) from the Windows Explorer address bar. The only problem...

Suddenly I can't use Alt-E combinations in any program (e.g. excel where I use it constantly in many common combinations like Alt-e-f, alt-e-s). Even as I post this, if I hit alt-e I get full-screen crosshairs that can be moved with my mouse, and just below and to the right of the crosshair...
