Windows 7 Setting up a USB Hub

Today I've bought one powered USB Hub that I was hoping to solve my low number of USB ports. It has 10 ports but when I connect anything on it (my phone, my external hard disk, flash disk, etc.) it doesn't recognize it. All of them are working conected directly. No unknown device under Device...
  2. Windows 7 "x" out does not sign me out anymore.

Win 7 SP1, IE10. In the past, if I hit the red "x" to get out from this forum, I would get signed out automatically. I did not have to do so manually. Since today, Feb15th , it is not longer true. I have to manually sign out. This happens to all the forums I have registered with. Is my IE 10...

  6. Windows 7 Adobe Flash Player Error During Kay Jewelers Ad on Hulu: Concern for Malware?

Something odd has been going on when watching Hulu videos that have an advertisement by Kay Jewelers, that I don't understand. Adobe Flash Player pops this dialog: I'm not quite certain the function of the two buttons, but I'm guessing that "Dismiss" means to abort something, and "Continue"...
  7. Windows 8 Windows 8.1 Install; are you sure?

After installing the upgrade I thought it was cool. Easy to change back in forth between the Metro and standard desktop and it seemed to work better. On Dec 1st it all went haywire. I couldn't get any further than the sign in screen. It was flipping back and forth between 2 different states. I...

Windows XP Win XP Pro x64

Cut and paste in x64 has an issue and it is hard to believe Microsoft did not attempt to correct it. Pasting a cut file leaves the file inaccessable. You cannot delete it, even from a command prompt. Restarting the system does not help. Installing SP2 did not help. Sort of sorry on their part!
