Got the BSOD about an hour ago and it's been stuck on 86% progress since then. Should I keep waiting or is it safe to hold the power button to shut it down?

Last saturday I bought a new laptop, an ASUS N751JK.
In those few days I have had 5 BSODs. I think it has something to with the Nvidia driver but I'm not sure.

I somehow lost the registry key HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList.
In fact there is only one reg key under CurrentVersion ( WPAEvents ). So that would explain why when I log in as user "ME" the default user profile gets loaded instead of the one for "ME".
