Windows 7 Internet connection acting extremly weird

If I had to pick one It would be the strange looking string value at the top of the services tab. It looks suspiciously like the bonjour/mdnsresponder issue we discussed earlier. So leave it disabled and see what happens. Also double check the services console by typing services.msc in the search or run dialog box and hitting enter, find it and make sure that it is in fact disabled.

For your information :

that string (##Id_string1.6844F930_1628_4223_B5CC_5BB94B879762##) was indeed the cause of the blockage .

I googled it and found that it is caused by Itunes 7.6 and also Photoshop CS3 two programs I had to install.

Without your help and knowledge , I would have never found this out and would have just re-installed Windows again . This

Way it's refreshing to know what is causing that problem exactly , for the future ,

Much thanks again ...

Ralph

Ralph:
Glad to hear that you were able to successfully resolve your problem, congrats. You're the one that did all the work, all I did was sit on this end and make a few lucky guesses.
Thanks for hanging in there, and hope to see you around the forums.
