Windows 7 "Limited access" WiFi connectivity after virus removal, registry edit.

I'm trying to fix my girlfriend's Windows 7 laptop after she had a virus/malware infection. I'm pretty sure we've successfully cleared the virus (an updated/full scan with Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware in safe mode comes up clean). However, we have had no Internet access since the infection. The wireless router/connection itself is fine (I connect to it daily with my laptop, as I am to write this post) but her laptop won't connect to it, we can't browse any web pages.

I may have made the problem worse in trying to resolve it. I stupidly followed the advice on a forum for some registry edits for Windows XP--deleting WinSock and WinSock2 from the registry and then restarting the computer in hopes they'd re-register themselves. Unfortunately, WinSock2 re-appeared but WinSock did not. I'm wondering if this has created a new problem (or compounded the problems we were already having).

In diagnostics, we currently get the following report: "Wireless Network Connection doesn't have a valid IP configuration." I just ran an ipconfig in the command prompt and got the following results:

She no longer has/can't find her original Windows install disc. So with that in mind, any ideas for troubleshooting/resolving this? We'd both really appreciate it.

reset your router. even though you may be able to connect with another device. you have no default gateway in your ipconfig post. hopefully resetting will fix your problem

Hello and welcome to the forums.
According to the information you have posted above, your wireless adapter is not communicating at all wiith your wireless router and as a consequence is not receiving any valid IP addressing information and instead is substituting APIPA information which is worthless for your purposes.
Go here and download the most recent drivers for your wireless adapter from the manufacturer. Pick you architecture (32 or 64 bit) the select the latest offering from intel and install it.
