Windows 8 Qualcomm Atheros error

My network adaptor Qualcomm has an error that says this

"This device cannot start. (Code 10)

{Operation Failed}
The requested soperation was unsuccessful." I have tried to install the latest driver but Windows says " You have already the best driver available in the market"

What can I do?

My system has an Atheros AR9485 Wireless Adapter. Do you know what model you have?

These drivers are normally available either in Windows 8 or through the manufacturer. Since we have no information on your system, it is hard to tell where you may need to get a driver. Perhaps kemical's link will help.
