Windows 7 When I move mouse to right desktop only displays

When I move the mouse to the right, the desktop only displays and all open windows disappear from view. As a disabled worker I must use mouse on platform to right of my PC. This is an annoying inconvenience . I tried disabling the Aero feature in Easy Access but that did not do it.
Thanks for any ideas.
