Hello there ,

I just re-installed a new copy of windows ...

I am noticing that I am unable to change (or get into the color changing) color setup menu. The place that let's you change the color and also opacity etc.

I right click desktop - properties/personal setup - and below next to Desktop there is
windows color and it has "windows 7 Basic K" written underneath it. Funny since I have Windows 7 Ultimate installed. When I click on it I get the old Windows XP style color change menu.

I can't find the menu where I can change opacity etc...

Please help if you can ...

PS. please forgive certain termanology since I am using non-English OS ^^

Hi, you might be missing a graphics driver as this is sometimes required for aero to run.. Can you please list the name of your graphics card? If your unsure on how to get the details, run this diagnostic app: Link Removed

I have Exaktly the same problem, but do You have A Windows 7 Ultimate (pirated verision)?

Can you Print Screen how it looks ? :)
