So I just got an update for Windows and after the update my headphones stop working. Sound still works with the integrated speakers but whenever I plug in my headphones they don't work. I've tried making the headphones the default device and that didn't work. I have BeatsAudio on my computer so I would like to know which driver update I need to try and fix the issue. If anyone knows a way to fix this problem I would greatly appreciate any help.

Solution
The easiest way would be
A. Look for new drivers at HP
B. Use a Restore Point to get to where you were before the Update --- it wouldn't be the first time Windows Updates cause trouble.
C. Kind of combination... Restore Point... update drivers... Windows Update.

Hope you get it running. There's a quite nice piece of software DriverMax - free driver download program for Windows XP & Vista I've used it a couple of years, with no problems.
