📎 AI Summary:
The thread discusses a Windows 10 message indicating "Active Directory" or "Managed by your organization," which the original poster suspects is related to syncing issues with OneDrive, partly due to using a local account. Contributors explain that the message typically relates to files not syncing or certain settings being managed through a Microsoft account, and advise creating a Microsoft ID to resolve some restrictions. The overall sentiment suggests that switching from a local to a Microsoft account may fix the identified issues.

Only W10 box on my LAN which is very well secured.

OrganizationWHAT!?

See attached image.

What does this, to my mind, Active Directory, looking message mean and what is it trying to tell me?

Wonder if it could be related to my "One Drive-ing me crazy" issues (my other thread below).

Thanks.

Windows speak for some files are not synced to this machine from your online Microsoft id... there are too many options that could cause it but thats the jist of what the message means.

Thanks for the responses!

I think that this and my other issue (post below in this forum) are both related to me using a LOCAL account.

I'll make a new MS login account with Standard (not admin) permissions and see how things roll.

Yes that will do it.

Make a Microsoft ID and just don't use it much... fake details if you like but there MUST be a Microsoft id on the system for certain options to start working.
