I have a laptop I've been using with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit since launch with very few issues. I update SP1 and installed it. Ever since this install I get BSOD 7F error messages about 1-2 times a day.
I've attached the minidump from the most recent BSOD,
I was not experiencing any BSOD...
:bighug:Hello kind people!
I have been using Norton Security Suite which I get free thru Comcast and
i'm wondering how it compares to the free MSE security as far as system
resource utilization or which one would be better for this old gamer as my
new pc will be here soon and I don't want it...
sooooo.... i hate the blue screen... I took my comp to best buy, and after a week, they restored it to factory condition. It went away for a while, but then it came back! It accomplished nothing! I'm a pc gamer, and I only have my computer to play games with (go steam! woot!) but the bsod...

And when It doesn't work I format the computer and reinstall the system.
Now I am getting the error...
I've read through a few threads on this subject but it seems as though the solution is always specific to each computer. I'm experiencing BSOD on a Dell Adamo Laptop, 4GB RAM and Intel Core 2 Duo CPU L9600 @ 2.13 GHz. I have Norton Antivirus installed (upgraded when I thought older version was...

Greetings to all,
Okay, I am trying to keep an open mind to the point that I invested my money into Win 7 Ult. 64 bit. While I find that it has some interesting addons, like Vista I find that is appears to be warmed over XP with the same features, just renamed and in different places so as to...

Hi guys
I have recently got some BSODs that mention 'Memory_Management' and one that mention 'System_service_exception'
I recently did a fresh install and replaced my Motherboard (as well as install a new graphic card). The problem only really started about 3 weeks ago when I bought some 3x2GB...
A question that I could not seem to find a direct answer to:
I have IE8 32 and IE8 64 running on WIN7 64 with Norton Internet Security 2010. Both show a cipher strength of 256 under Help/About. When I run a cipher test on a site like Fortify.net it shows both as running a 128 cipher, not...
Problem 1: Whenever I attempt to access to the LG Electronics website on my Win 7 machine, I get a security warning about downloading a file & the website is blocked. This is a recent issue & only occurs on my Win 7 computer. (My laptop is running Vista & I have no such issues w/ the site.)...
This is a long story, but I will shorten it as much as possible.
I own a 64-bit Windows 7 Professional operating system, running i5, 8800 GTS, 4gb ram.
I use Norton 360 as an anti virus, but at one point a few weeks ago, my subscription ran out. During the period between me scrounging up the...

Hey everyone
Seeing as how I'm in the BSOD forum, you won't be surprised to hear me say it, but BSODs and me, we go way back.
Ever since the first day I purchased my laptop, I've been having them (no refund and 2 exchanges for the same model at the store, they wouldn't agree to anything else)...
