Hi,
I'm trying to install a program that was built to run on Windows XP but it tells me I need to install a .NET Framework 1.x or higher. I know that Windows 7 has .NET already installed but only for x64 programs (? I'm guessing) but when I try to install and earlier version of .NET (2 or 3)...
Hi all. I have gone through all the threads about "this computer isn't running a genuine version of windows", even though it's painfully tech for me sometimes, and I still can't find a solution. I get the message at logon, once a day, even though i have used an activator and deactivated the...

Greeting to the ppl at W7F.
I going to jump right into this. If my question seems trivial I sincerely apologize.

When I enter a search word in WE under LIBRARIES it just sits there.
If I do it in the actual folder (My Documents) it searches immediately.

Hi
My apologies if i have not posted correctly or if i am repeating a topic.
I have installed several programs to Program Files x84, however some of them may have been x64 applications, does this matter or make any difference?
Many thanks
Ravi
Good Day,
I have an x86 Win 7 Pro key that I'm not using, and a friend would like to upgrade from x64 Vista Home Premium. My question is simple - will an x86 key activate an x64 Win 7 install?
Thanks

Does W7 x86 use the same key as x64? Also, at work we have a company copy of W7, but some jackass put a permanent label over the disc, but failed to mark whether it is x86 or x64. Is there a way of telling?

Hey guys,
I'm planning to upgrade to x64 as right now i have 4gb ram, and 1.7gb graphics memory,
as you can guess the x84 limits are pretty severely bottlenecking my computer's performance, I can run crysis on another pc w/ x64 on full graphics fine (other pc has similar specs), but it barely...
Sorry for asking this question. It's not really answered in the stickies. I'm looking to upgrade from my XP (x86) Pro to 7 (x64) Pro. Is this a possible upgrade? Do I have to perform a clean install? TIA
