Hi!

I don't know if i have the same issue, but for me it says no internet and its a yellow exclamation mark down over the network icon.
I've tried manually setting dns, ip and all that, i've tried disable ipv6, i have the latest driver. The connection really goes in waves, but it always happens when i just start the computer, it takes like 30 min before i can access internet.

I have a router with two other wired computers, they are working fine.

Hello and welcome to the forums.
Probably a third party software product (Firewall, Internet Security Suite, mDNSresponder.exe, etc.,)
Start the machine in safe mode with networking and see if the problem persists.
Keep us posted.
Regards
Randy

Hi Trouble!

Thank you for responding so fast.

Its working perfectly in safe mode. But what could it be,
my antivirus? I have Avast but i uninstalled it before to see and it didn't help.

First right click the taskbar and choose "Start Task Manager" then
click the button on the bottom left to show processes for all users then
look for something called mdnsresponder.exe if present then type
services.msc into the search or run dialog box and hit enter
In the services console scroll as needed and look for
Bonjour Service and or
this weird string
##Id_String1.6844F930_1628_4223_B5CC_5BB94B879762##
if either or both are present
double click them, click the stop button and change the start-up type to disable
Additionally you may want to take a look at this article regarding Clean Booting Windows 7, it may help you find and identify the offending program, process or service.
Finally if you would like me to take a look type
msinfo32 into the search or run dialog box and hit enter
click file->save
and save a copy to your desktop
right click the saved file and choose send to compressed folder
this will create a another file on you desktop with a .zip extension
attach it to your next post and I will see if I can locate any glaring problems.

First you said that you have the latest drivers. You don't so go here and download and run the latest driver software version 13.4.0.0 (11/29/2010) you are currently running 13.0.0.0.107 (9/15/2009)
Second uninstall Avast. Use the programs and features applet in the control panel and then follow up by running the vendor specific proprietary removal tool found in this list, replace with Link Removed due to 404 Error
Third, I didn't find any thing that really jumped out at me but you have a couple services running at startup unnecessarily, so type
services.msc into the search or run dialog box and hit enter
scroll as needed and locate
IP Helper double click and stop it and set the startup type to manual
You are also running the Offline Files service, which could be impacting your network performance if it's enumerating a lot of files on a server somewhere and determining their respective sync status. Don't see this a lot in home environments. Same deal, if you are not using it, stop it and set the startup type to manual.
You also are running the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service if you don't need it same deal stop it and set the startup type to manual
As an aside, but also interesting you have all three peer networking services running, which are normally associated with HomeGroups so I'll assume that that is what is running them since they are already set properly to manual so they are being called by another API or service. But if you are not using Windows 7 HomeGroups then you might want to determine what is causing these normally dormant services to startup.
Peer Name Resolution Protocol
Peer Networking Grouping
Peer Networking Identity Manager
Let me know how it's going and also do you have the ability to use your wired card (Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet) it would be nice to have an alternative diagnostic platform just to see if the problem goes away when the network is hard wired.

Thank you for checking my file.
I did everything you said but nothing worked.

I've tried with a wire and its working perfectly when connected.

edit: No wait, i think its working now. I've restarted like 10 times and internet start working immediately.
I just followed everthing you said and its working now, but i'm afraid that it will come back.

edit2: Noo, still goes in waves, damn! So wierd, it was working just fine. I was so happy haha :)

If your internet connection works fine when hard wired to your router and you are absolutely sure that that is the case, then I would suggest that you look to your wireless router manufacturer's website and see if they have a firmware update specific to your exact model name, model number and revision number.
Additionally you may want to try to manually assign static values under the properties of IPv4 in the properties of your network card as they pertain to DNS servers. Contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) and ask them for their DNS servers' IP addresses for your service and add them (should be at least two but one will suffice) to the Preferred and Alternate DNS server value boxes in IPv4 properties of your wireless network card and reboot. You can always switch them back to automatic if it doesn't seem to help.

On the first issue, plug in your wired cable to your computer and router, reboot your computer into safemode with networking and perform another IPCONFIG /ALL under those conditions and post it here.
On the second issue that is a typical message that you receive when you plug a USB 2.0 device into a port that supports only USB 1.0. Determine if your PC has a USB 2.0 port available and plug the device into that port if present.
Additionally please provide information regarding the
Manufacturer's Name
Model Name
Model Number
and
Revision Number
of both your wireless and wired Network Interface Cards.

My internet works a lot better since i did what you said. But the problem still happens at random, but less often. It's very annoying when playing online games, maybe i should replace my router.

Thank you so much for your help Trouble.

Hi Trouble!

Thank you for responding so fast.

Its working perfectly in safe mode. But what could it be,
my antivirus? I have Avast but i uninstalled it before to see and it didn't help.
If the above statement you made is accurate, then I'm not convinced your router is actually the culprit here. I still think you have some software product or service running that is responsible for your issue. I'm just not sure what that is. Have you scanned the machine for the presense of any malware or virus that may be present?

You're right.

When I tried running it in safe mode the problem was so bad that I had to wait for 20 min before i could access internet, so i restarted it in safe mode it worked immediately, then started it normal, same problem. I did this maybe 8 times or more.

Before I decided to write here I reinstalled windows, didn't help.
And i've scanned for virus or malware and can't find anything.

Now I'm a little more confused;
When I tried running it in safe mode the problem was so bad that I had to wait for 20 min before i could access internet
So it doesn't actually work any better in safe mode with networking than it does in normal mode???
If that is the case then perhaps your idea of replacing the wireless router might not be a bad idea, if you have already checked with the device manufacturer for a recent firmware update which should be your first effort as these can typically add new features and functions and well as fix known bugs and other issues and possibly breath some new life into an older router.
Additionally if you do decide to replace it with a newer appliance then make sure you are aware of the retailer's return policy so that if it does not provide the desired results (fixes your problem) you can return it, no questions asked for a full refund or at least store credit.
Ideally it would be great if you were able to either test your machine at a relative's, friend's or neighbor's house or apartment, or test your environment by introducing another machine with the same or similar specs.
Keep us posted as to how you intend to move forward with the diagnostic process.

No, when I followed your advice to start the computer in safe mode, the problem when starting it normal was so bad that i had to wait 20 min before I could access internet, but in safe mode it started immediately, this I tried several times.
Sorry if my english is unclear, I'm swedish:)
