Re: [langtitle=pt]Re: Connects to router but no internet access.....[/langtitle]
you don't say what your connection looks like.
If you have a separate router it could be a router issue. If you only have a modem/router this doesn't apply. call your ISP.
do a factory reset on the router and try connecting without any security.
you will need to establish a new connection on the notebook.
if OK, add your security.
if not OK, you may have an IP conflict. This is common if you have a DSL connection-not so much with cable, but possible.
Plug computer directly into modem. do a power reset on everything.
Make a new connection. It should work fine. If not call your ISP.
enter ipconfig /all at a DOS prompt
record IP returned - it will be 192.168.xxx.yyy if it is working. It may also start 10.sss.rrr.ttt.
reconnect router and power reset everything.
do the ipconfig /all again. the IP will start with 192.168.
and MUST have a different xxx
If the previous ip started with 10. then there should not be a problem.
If the xxx is the same then configure router for a different xxx number.
Basically, the one of the first three sets of numbers must be different
reset everything and try again.
If not, try a different computer, modem, or router to isolate the problem.
