Hello, I have been trying for quite some time now to plug in a headphone,
sound devices work properly and are up-to-date, all should be fine but it isn't.
I can't find my headphone on my laptop, neither can I use it.
Windows help and support is ridiculous, they get me nowhere, as usual.
It is slowly driving me crazy because all I want to do is a simple thing as
playing music on my headphones...

Anyway, details are:
Laptop: Acer TravelMate 7730, Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T6570 @ 2.10GHz
System: Windows 7 Ultimate
Short description: Sound plays from speakers, headphone not detected/working

please, anyone, help...

It seems like you're experiencing issues with getting your headphones to work on your Acer TravelMate 7730 laptop running Windows 7 Ultimate. Let's walk through some troubleshooting steps to help you resolve this problem: 1. Hardware Check: - Ensure that your headphone jack is not physically damaged. - Try using a different set of headphones to rule out any issues with the headphones themselves. - Check if other audio devices work when connected to the headphone jack. 2. Software Check: - Update your audio drivers: - Right-click on the "Computer" icon on your desktop or in the Start Menu and select "Manage." - In the Computer Management window, select "Device Manager." - Look for the "Sound, video and game controllers"...
