Hello,

I am have a torrid tome trying to figure this one out. I have just bought a new Samsung notebook and cant get some of the other computers on the network to view the shared library folders.

There are three computers on the Homegroup (ie all windows 7) lets call them Samsung, Acer, DesktopPC.
The network is via a wireless router

On each machine the other two computers can be seen listed under the "Homegroup" tag

The issue that i have, is that even though the DesktopPC can see the shared folders from the Samsung it cannot access them "Windows cannot access \\SAMSUNG\FOLDER\, you do not have permission to access \\SAMSUNG\\FOLDER\... blah blah blah..."

However,

The DesktopPC can access Acer's shared files and folders in the Homegroup
The Acer can access DesktopPC and Samsung's shared files and folders
The Samsung can access Acer's and Desktop PC shared files and folders

So, I am stuck for an answer for this and I have searched for a solution until my fingers have bled.

What do I need to do to get the DesktopPC to have permission to access Samsung's shared files and folders on the Homegroup? Is it a problem/setting with the DesktopPC or the new Samsung?

Thanks in advance.
