Windows 7 Realtek Onboard Sound Causing Loop then Freeze?

I've had a few problems with Sound cutting out randomly (but usually after computer has been running for a while) in which, in various video games, or just chilling on the desktop listening to music, my sound will cut out. I've used both the Vista R2.08 drivers and the Win7 Drivers from Windows update. Anyone else experiencing something close to this? It might not even by my sound.

If you go on to the Realtek site and download and install the Vista_R218 driver you will get your sound back. It just came out on 3/9 and it works great. You could even download a R218_Readme PDF that tells you exactly how you should install the driver.
