Windows 7 Setup.exe Won't Run

I saw anohter thread like this one, but it was stupid So I'm trying to install a computer game, and when i run Setup.exe, it says "Do you want the following program from an unknown publisher to make changes to this computer?" I click Yes, and thats it. It goes away and nothing happens. The hourglass shows up for a second and nothing happens. Please Help

Hello and welcome to the forum.
Some specifics regarding the particular program that you are having trouble with may help and produce replies from members who may have personal experience with that program.
Generally
Right click the setup.exe and choose properties
select the compatibility tab and experiment with different OS versions like Vista or XP
check the box that says Run as Administrator at the bottom
See if that helps.
