I have a Win Server and a Hyper-V machine on it. I would like to image a system that is hyper-v using Veeam for example and restore the system from an image on another computer but as a standalone server without hyper-v. Will it go? Has anyone done this? Can I only restore it as a virtual machine?

I have used Acronis True Image for years but it is now worthless because their customer support and tech support no longer function. and sometimes it makes faulty backups.
What other backup programs do you recommend for Win10/64?
I get an error message "The system cannot find the file specified. (0x80070002)" The file it relates to is my Pictures file. Could this be because my pictures are uploaded to One Drive?
If so how do I transfer them to an external drive?
Thanks in anticipation of someone's help.

Hello,
I have an Acer Predator Helios 300 laptop that's suffered fluid damage that I've gotten diagnosed. The SSD is okay, but the motherboard needs to be repaired or replaced, and some other parts may also be damaged. IIRC, Windows is built in to the computer.
Thankfully, I can easily afford...

I have been imaging my system to avoid having to install. It comes in handy as long as the drive is healthy.
Should I keep a clone also in case of drive failure or is it better to clean install when the drive fails..
My computer is working fine (for now). I have some empty 500 gb drives. I have one empty sata port left on my rather old desktop mobo. What's the easiest way to format (guess I'd have to do that) and create a second backup drive with all my data on it. I probably asked this on some other...
