My Asus desktop's fan works very loud and even when is not working it too noisy. It works almost all the time and desktop is never ever even warm.
Anything to be done, it's really too much. It was like that from very begin.
Thanks
Vesna
My laptop fan gets very loud every few minutes and then quiets down for a few minutes, does anyone know how to fix this?
I have Win 7 Ultimate 64bit, Samsung laptop with core i7, graphics card, 8gb ram.
Anyone know what the highest possible RPM you can get out of a 120 / 140 mm case fan is, from any manufacturer, and at any price. With the EXCLUSION of modifying the case fan itself. What is the highest possible 120 / 140 mm case fan you can buy?
Thanks

I just got around to installing Speedfan on my IBM ThinkCentre M52 and was surprised at how hot it is running (see screenshot)Both the processor and internal hard drives are much higher than I'm accustomed to. I know that the hard drive is too hot, but with the design of the case, I can't think...

We have a Asus K52Jc running Windows 7 Home Premium x64.
I started getting complaints that the laptop would randomly shut down. I took a look at it and found that the fan was seized and not cooling down the laptop. I ordered in a new fan and replaced it. The new fan works wonderfully, the only...

Hi there everyone.
I'ts been over a year since I last wrote on this forum. Last time was because I had several bsod at the start of summer which ended up being fixed by cleaning the cooler. Well, here I am again, with the same problem, except that cleaning my computer didn't work this time.

I wasn't sure where else to post this, so I'd thought I'd post it here, since I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the hardware, most likely the MOBO or something.
I recently upgraded my Roommate's computer, we had a few issues already, apparently it was BIOs issues, since it was...

Just curious what the stuff in the parenthesis means? i believe ox7f is hardware/driver issue, but i'm not a doctor. i don't know.
This has been happening it seems almost randomly. I...

I had an all-in-one liquid cpu cooler leak coolant all over my PC last week, luckily it shut down from overheating when there was no coolant left in the loop. I disassembled my PC, cleaned everything with alcohol and let it dry. Then i bought an air cooler and installed it. After installing the...
Hello,
I recently posted in the BSOD section of this forum and after several testing, the people over there suggested me to get a new and better CPU Cooler.

Can I run it turbo mode all the time, if I am not using the battery? Or can I increase the low gig. mode from 1197 gig. to say 1500 gig. ? I so seldom use the battery, so I can imagine that being a problem. Also, I read something about leaving the battery out, if I use it outside on a warm...
