I'm currently in the process of getting parts for a new computer build.
So far I have a Asus Maximus VIII Hero mobo and a Samsung 850 EVO 500GB. M/2 ssd for it. I'm also going to be re-using the Seagate Barracuda 3.0TB h.d , Intel 530 Series 400GB ssd (for Games), Lite On DVD-RW, Lite ON Blu-ray burner and memory card reader from my current pc.
I'm also going to be getting a NZXT Phantom 820 case. G-Skill Ripjaws-Z DDR 4 3200 ram (32GBS) and a Corsair HX-1000i psu for the new pc.
I need suggestions between the following part's for the new pc.
The heatsink is either going to be a EK-XLC Predator 240 or a Corsair Hydro Series H-100i GTX.
With either one, I'll be using 4 EK-Furious Vardar FF5-120 (3000rpm) fans in push/pull.
I also need help deciding between 2 GeForce GTX 4.0GB or 2 AMD Radeon 390X 4.0GB video cards.
I'm ordering a Intel Core i5 6600K cpu on Thursday and eventually plan on upgrading it to a Core i7 6700K in early 2017.
Keep in mind, I'm on permanent disability (Social Security) for life and can't afford to spend over $300.00 on a part/s in a month.
The pc won't be built until May as I won't have all parts until then minus the new video cards.
I'll be using my current GeForce GTX 760's until then, but they need to go back inn this pc, so I can sell it.
All suggestions appreciated between the AIO's and video card's.
P.S. PC will be running Windows 10 Pro x64.

I'm actually hoping for Tuesday or Wednesday. I have medical stuff Monday & Thursday.
Though, when I ordered my current pc's case, I received it the next day on a Saturday morning.
I very well may be building it tomorrow. I'll know sometime tonight when my tracking number is updated by FedEx.
I already have the number, they're just not as good as UPS or the USPS, in the tracking department. It probably won't give me any results until 11:00 P.M.

I got my Newegg gift card ordered towards one of my Samsung 850 EVO 1TB ssd's. Getting one next month.
I uninstalled Bitdefender Internet Security 2017 and System Mechanic Standard.
Bitdefender expired on Friday and I got a deal for any Bitdefender product for $19.99, so this time I got Bitdefender Total Security 2017, so System Mechanic Standard isn't needed now.
It expires in a week or two anyway.
Had a e.r. visit Thursday for my diabetes, so I missed my other appointment. I need to reschedule it this morning and do a lot of other stuff.

Windows 10 Creators Update install went good. It took from 1PM-3PM to get the Windows Upgrade Assistant Tool to give it to me. It then took roughly a hour for the download, install and setup process to finish..
Now, I get to spend some time getting used to what's changed.

I fell asleep early last nighr, so I wasn't sure when they were released. PC Gamer mentioned them being released, so I got them today.
Then, as soon as I could get the Creators Update with the Windows Upgrade Assistant, I got it.
So far, I've re-checked my registry tweaks, gpedit tweaks and Local Security Policy tweaks.
Then I ran Windows Update & Windows Store's Update, until no updates were found. Restarted my pc and ran disk cleanup.
Suprizingly this time around disk cleanup got rid off the Windows.old, etc. from the Creators Update upgrade.
Now, it's on to seeing what's new or changed over the next few days.

Re-ran and posted my 3DMark results after the Windows 10 Creators Update & AMD Crimson ReLive 17.4.1 drivers. Just click on my name to see them in my pc spec's.
Getting antsy. I may get one of my roommates to move my pc for me tomorrow or Saturday so I can put my Predator in.

I did a clean install of Windows 10 Pro Creators Update on this pc Saturday.
I found a major bug in it.
System Image in it loses your external hard drive the image is going on, even though the drive is very much still there and still shows up in This PC & Device Manager.
Other than that I like Creators Update, so far.

Ah, that's nice.
The only part I use in Creators Update that's new is the Night Light feature.
I don't really see Game Mode being of any use, as it requires games to support it.
The only ones that are gonna work are newer games, still in the development process or newer popular games.
The rest will never see updates to support it.
As far as the game streaming AMD Crimson ReLive has been able to do that since it was released.
Nvidia can probably do it, too.
They cam add all the Edge improvements they want.
I still won't waste time on it.
Why bother, when A: It failed in Day 1 of PWN recently and 2: Opera has a VPN feature baked in to hide your browsing and searches.

Never used edge. Game mode when supported works well. I'm liking the update. Has fixed a few AMD issues with their ryzen CPUs. So I couldn't be happier.

nmsuk: I heard recently that AMD released a Ryzen specific power plan for Windows 10. I think it was PC world that posted a article about it. Article link: AMD's Ryzen Balanced power plan for Windows promises to boost CPU performance
