I'm currently in the process of getting parts for a new computer build.
So far I have a Asus Maximus VIII Hero mobo and a Samsung 850 EVO 500GB. M/2 ssd for it. I'm also going to be re-using the Seagate Barracuda 3.0TB h.d , Intel 530 Series 400GB ssd (for Games), Lite On DVD-RW, Lite ON Blu-ray burner and memory card reader from my current pc.
I'm also going to be getting a NZXT Phantom 820 case. G-Skill Ripjaws-Z DDR 4 3200 ram (32GBS) and a Corsair HX-1000i psu for the new pc.
I need suggestions between the following part's for the new pc.
The heatsink is either going to be a EK-XLC Predator 240 or a Corsair Hydro Series H-100i GTX.
With either one, I'll be using 4 EK-Furious Vardar FF5-120 (3000rpm) fans in push/pull.
I also need help deciding between 2 GeForce GTX 4.0GB or 2 AMD Radeon 390X 4.0GB video cards.
I'm ordering a Intel Core i5 6600K cpu on Thursday and eventually plan on upgrading it to a Core i7 6700K in early 2017.
Keep in mind, I'm on permanent disability (Social Security) for life and can't afford to spend over $300.00 on a part/s in a month.
The pc won't be built until May as I won't have all parts until then minus the new video cards.
I'll be using my current GeForce GTX 760's until then, but they need to go back inn this pc, so I can sell it.
All suggestions appreciated between the AIO's and video card's.
P.S. PC will be running Windows 10 Pro x64.

Solution
I'm actually hoping for Tuesday or Wednesday. I have medical stuff Monday & Thursday.
Though, when I ordered my current pc's case, I received it the next day on a Saturday morning.
I very well may be building it tomorrow. I'll know sometime tonight when my tracking number is updated by FedEx.
I already have the number, they're just not as good as UPS or the USPS, in the tracking department. It probably won't give me any results until 11:00 P.M.
I must admit to be pretty interested in the new chip AMD will release depending on single core performance as well as gaming performance too.
Although I won't be replacing anything if the performance is similar or the same as what's the point.. Might as well save the cash until something comes along that fills that criteria.

As far as the rgb strips instead of just red led strips. I can go that route and it would probably make more sense down the road, as I could choose any color.
As far as Ryzen and AM4 it's looking pretty good so far. Granted it's new and some bug's have to be fixed. AMD appears to be fixing them fast.
As far as gaming, that and other software depend's on their developer's coding for it.
I don't see them not, considering AMD rules the game consoles.

For games most probably won't take advantage of it until next year or late this year.
It will be more supported than Game Mode will be, I'd bet.

I'll wait till the end of May/June for Threadripper as they are the true enthusiast chips coming in a variety of flavours..(Cores)

Yeah, I have to stick with what I can afford. For me it'll have to be the R7 or R5.
That and the R9's may require a different mobo series that brings new bugs with it.

Curious to see what Intel's gonna do now that it has i9 cpu's.
Are the i7's not gonna have hyper-threading in the future?
Gues we'll have to wait and see.

they would be morions to take it out as its already built into the board bios and does nothing at all unless turned on...

Really if they were smart they'd add it to the i5's.
Either way, I just did a search on Amazon for next month and found out Amazon has gift cards, too.
Now, next month it depends on whether Amazon or Newegg has a better price on the Samsung 850 EVO 1TB m.2 ssd at.
This time around, I'm gonna get a $175.00 gift card instead of a $150.00 one to bring down what I spend out of pocket in August on it.
I'll probably go that same route with getting a racing wheel and the Ryzen cpu.

thanks for the heads up

an I5 is just an I7 that failed the test... thats why they are cheap

Use this link to get it, as for some reason it doesn't show up during a Windows Store search. I also haven't been able to get it to go past the 1st screen, it crasheLink Removed. I uninstalled it and re-installed it and it still crashes after the first screen that says the game name. https://Link Removed

I'm gonna leave it on my pc for a few days to see if they fix it. If it doesn't work by next Monday, it goes bye-bye for good.

I'm installing it now. If it works here, it'll be a problem with your windows and not the game

I'm thinking it's the game. Glance over the store reviews while it installs. All appear the same, as soon as it says Phantom Dust the window closes/crashes. That's the very first screen.
