Hi Michael and Welcome to The Forum.

STOP 0x00000116: VIDEO_TDR_ERROR
Usual causes:
Video driver, overheating, bad video card, ?BIOS, ?Power to card.

Your latest dump file lists nvlddmkm.sys as the probable cause. This is a graphics driver.
Old and incompatible drivers can and do cause issues with Windows 7, often giving false error codes. Random stop codes can often indicate hardware issues.

You're getting a Stop Error Code 116
(Link) "It's not a true crash, in the sense that the bluescreen was initiated only because the combination of video driver and video hardware was being unresponsive, and not because of any synchronous processing exception.

Since Vista, the "Timeout Detection and Recovery" (TDR) components of the OS video subsystem have been capable of doing some truly impressive things to try to recover from issues which would have caused earlier OSs like XP to crash. As a last resort, the TDR subsystem sends the video driver a "please restart yourself now!" command and waits a few seconds. If there's no response, the OS concludes that the video driver/hardware combo has truly collapsed in a heap, and it fires off that stop 0x116 BSOD.

If playing with video driver versions hasn't helped, make sure the box is not overheating. Try removing a side panel and aiming a big mains fan straight at the motherboard and GPU. Run it like that for a few hours or days - long enough to ascertain whether cooler temperatures make a difference. If so, it might be as simple as dust build up and subsequently inadequate cooling." - H2SO4

Ensure that none of the hardware is being over-clocked.
Ensure that the machine is adequately cooled. Chase out those dust bunnies!

As a Priority:

Reset your Graphics

  • Download and install DriverSweeper.
  • Uninstall your current Graphics setup through Programs and Features
  • Boot to (preferably) Safe Mode and run Driver Sweeper to clean up the remnants of your current Graphics set up.
  • Reboot to Normal Mode.
  • Install your new Graphics set up. nVidia Graphics Drivers.

Make sure your system is fully updated including SP1.

heres the dump file...
oops theres no attach link with the reply to thread button

and i also got this MESSAGE when i restart it

Warning
Improper shutdown during VGA clock setting.
Do you want to set it again?

[Okay] [Cancel]

Thanks for the dump file, sadly :(. Having a look now.

If anything is overclocked you would know about it as you would have made the settings :). Maybe the only thing you can easily overclock is your graphics.

Right still a 116, still blaming your nVidia graphics driver. Did you refresh the graphics as above?

DirectX is graphics related, yours is dated 14 Jul 2009, as are most of your drivers. Updating to SP1 will bring them up to date.

As best as I can determine from your most recent dump file, the drivers that are present don't seem to reflect dates that I would expect to see if in fact Windows 7 Service Pack 1 was installed.
Additionally you have a couple very old drivers that are loading and might be causing some issue.
pcouffin.sys 12/5/2006 low level access layer for CD devices (maybe also Sonic related a lot of CD/DVD software use this driver)
and
PxHlpa64.sys 6/23/2009 Sonic CD/DVD driver
Maybe as a means of determining there possible effect on your present problem, perform a search for and rename both to
pcouffin.OLD
and
PxHlpa64.OLD
Both probably located here C:\Windows\System32\Drivers but may also be located elsewhere, hence the search.
This should prevent them from causing any problems and is easily reversed if any unintended issues arise.

Same as previous except the driver dates now do reflect the installation of Service Pack 1.
You still need to deal with
pcouffin.sys and PxHlpa64.sys search, find and rename both.
Additionally:
Please read the first post in this sticky thread here How to ask for help with a BSOD problem
Do your best to accumulate the data required.
Run the SF Diagnostic tool (download and right click the executable and choose run as administrator)
Download and run CPUz. Use the Windows snipping tool to gather images from all tabs including all slots populated with memory under the SPD tab.
Likewise RAMMon. Export the html report, put everything into a desktop folder that you've created for this purpose, zip it up and attach it to your next post (right click it and choose send to, compressed (zipped) folder.
AND
Read this and fill out your system specs. http://windows7forums.com/windows-7...you-filling-your-system-specs.html#post235529
Good luck
Randy

Thanks for filling out your system specs.
Accordingly I can't help but notice that there have been some seven (7) BIOS updates since the version 10.3 that you are currently running.
Some of these address Memory as well as CPU issues.
Can you double check with your Motherboard Manufacturer's Website and confirm any availability specific for your Model Name, Model Number and Revision Number. It is possible that it may help with your issues.
After dealing with the two drivers mentions above.
Regards
Randy

Goodmorning, i already renamed the filePxHlpa64.sys and pcouffin.sys to .OLD. but still i got the blue screen error..
anyway i attached the recent minidump to the FOLDER you instructed me to do so.

i checked the website and it seems like my motherboard chipset is Intel® H61 (B3) Chipset
im not sure.. but this is the link to my motherboard's specification Link Removed due to 404 Error

heres the FOLDER ZIP
View attachment Seven Forums.zip

Thank you so much

Use the Intel® Driver Update Utility (in Internet Explorer gives me the best results). This will tell you if there are any updates for your chipset drivers.

Also you can quite safely delete your dmp files in the minidump folder. They're on here now.
