I am trying to install XP Professional onto a friends laptop and I have caught a little snag.
I installed it from the hard drive with a setup.exe.
I went through the setup and it restarted a couple of times and I think I am done until after a restart I get a pop up saying...

i really need help
the other day i was looking in the registry to make a back up but before that i accidentally deleted wow6432node
later on i restarted my laptop and it just hanged on the welcome screen and the welcome word dose not even show up some missed up letter do though...
I saw thread on similar problem and mentioned I need to make sure
services.msc -> Virtual Disk Service (VDS) to automatic and started. I made this change and click the install again. The same message shown again.
After message the VDS will stopped. I can restart and try install again. no luck...

Hi there,
When I try to start the computer I athm asked if I want to do a full repair. When I choose this Windows blocks in the start up screen.
