Basically I push the sleep button and the computer stays on but the keyboard lights turn off, so I suppose it's in hybrid sleep. I want my computer to go into Sleep mode and completely shut off. I don't see an option in the power options to disable hybrid sleep, and I even tried to disable it...

Hi! Just upgraded to Windows 7 RC and loving it so far. Really a change over XP and I'm actually liking the organization a bit more!
I've had most of my issues resolved right off the bat as it just "works"! However, 2 issues are plaguing it that I would like to see if I can get some tips on...
Hello everyone. For some reason when I but Windows to Sleep, a couple minutes later it turns itself on again. In the power options I don't have any "auto-wakeup" sort of feature enabled, so I have no idea what it could be. This never happened to me on Vista before, and I checked the Bios and...

I bought an HP laptop and installed Windows 7, 64-bit in order to test it. I've noticed something rather annoying with the power options which may be a bug in the software that others are experiencing as well. Allow me to explain my situation:
I use my laptop at work and connect an external...
