Windows 7 Password Virus Issue ???? Please help !

Hello, so basically here's my problem.. i opened my laptop turned it on.. once i get to the main sign in page there's a ton of Characters already entered in my password box.. so i deleted them and entered my password at which point it said i had an incorrect password. I've tried resetting the computer.. pulling out the battery i've even gone online and burned a windows 7 password resetter to a disc.. and even that wont let me get in to reset the password.. is this a virus ? and if so how can i get into my account to try and get rid of it ? I appreciate any help or advice you can give me.. thanks !!

boot in safe mode with command promt

if you can get the command promt box type

net user administrator /active:yes

restart the pc, login as the new account that has popped up reset the account through that admin account
