Windows 7 Programs shortcuts showing Explorer shortcuts

Hi

When I start Windows, Explorer always starts on it's own. The view downloads box pops up, showing this:

file:///C:/ProgramData/Microsoft/Windows/Start%20Menu/Programs/Startup/Ralink%20Wireless%20Utility.lnk

And asks me whether to open it or save it.

Now all of the icons on my desktop and the start menu are Explorer shortcuts although they are completely different programs.

Can you please guide me? What is wrong with my PC?

Thanks a lot.

Thank you for your response Mr. zvit

I'm attaching a picture just so you know the exact problem.

I've tried the first solution but nothing happened.
I tried to follow the second solution but I couldn't.

See? All applications got Explorer icon.

I am not familiar with the path being shown for the wireless adapter. Almost looks like a network connection. Are you on some type of network in such a way a driver could be on another system?

Do you show anything in the Startup folder on the Start Menu-All Programs?

Have you run any virus scans lately?

Maybe go through the MSconfig.exe listing of startup programs and see if that path is listed.

Looks to me like you have your .lnk (shortcut) file associations messed up.
Try the LNK fixed located here Link Removed - Invalid URL
Read the instructions and follow them and see if that solves your issue.
